Hi! This is Jay, giving you a BIG welcome to the Evening Show!
You can join me every weekday evening from 7pm on 96.2 The Revolution.
Feel free to have a mooch around my section of the site to get a bit of a feel for what we do on the show. There's always plenty to get involved with.
WHAT WE DO:
The show mainly consists a random nonsense and entertaining rubbish... there's the nightly topic of discussion that carries on throughout the show, mixed in with other random nonsense that we invite you to throw forward into the show. We do a nightly "Who Is It" where you have to guess the identity of a celeb from a teeny tiny sound clip, and we also do the "Lyric Line" where you have to identify the song from a couple of lines. Sometimes we just grab random callers on the air for a good old chinwag!
Mondays, we'll have a Monday Moan, Tuesdays are generally for Teasers, Wednesday is random day where anything can happen, Thursday is Theme Tune Thursday where we test your knowledge of old TV theme tunes, and Fat Friday is for discussing what you're stuffing your face with in celebration of the start of the weekend!
There's also Jay's Web Findings, where I'll occasionally post something of interest up here on the site that I've managed to find on the net, and also we'd love to hear from you if you're an international listener so we can stick you on the Planet 96.2FM hall of fame.
We usually end up rounding off the show with a good old insulting phone call from Grandma Irene - she calls up, then we insult her. Pretty straightforward really!
