Planet 96.2 The Revolution!

Welcome to Planet 96.2FM!

Not only does 96.2 The Revolution broadcast across the North West of England on 96.2 FM, but you can also listen to us online around the world via the magic of the Internet!

No longer do we have to let geographical location interfere with what radio station we listen to!

There is an increasing amount of listeners getting in touch with the Evening Show from outside of the North West of England, and even around the globe!  This has prompted me to create a little Hall of Fame type thing to acknowledge our growing international audience!

If you want to be added to the list, please fill out the form below!

Wendy Jones - Orlando, Florida, USA
Wendy is originally from Dukinfield, having been a previous listener years ago before moving to the states five years ago.  Formerly a pizza delivery girl, Wendy now cares for children.  She was over the moon when Steve Penk bought the station and changed it back to playing the kind of music she remembers hearing on the station way back when!  Wendy loves listening to The All New 96.2 The Revolution on her laptop while running around after rug rats.

Lisa Holroyd - Bermuda
Lisa is a former Oldham lass and still has family in the area, despite moving overseas last year to follow her floral dreams!  She now works as a florest at Designer Flowers in the glorious Bermuda Islands while listening to 96.2 The Revolution every day on her laptop in the office.

Jamie Ahrens - Iowa, USA
Jamie is an All American Girl born and bred.  She generally listens to 96.2 The Revolution when she wakes up.  She tunes into the Evening Show on her laptop, grabs some breakfast, has a shower and then sadly has to tune out again when she leaves for work.  However, it sets her up for the day, having been entertained for a few hours by her favourite British fella!

Dawn Dyer - Valencia, Spain
Originally from Prestwich, Manchester, Dawn is a self-confessed dizzy blonde, married, mother of two, and grandmother all rolled into one!  She moved to Valencia in 2007, and, according to her husband, is a lady of leisure... however, she is still waiting for the leisure to start!  She likes to come back to the UK every month or so to visit family and have her Asda and Tesco fix, and loves keeping in touch with Manchester through 96.2 The Revolution!
The last word comes from Dawn: "Keep up the good work, guys!"

Michelle Pickens - Milan, Italy
Michelle found out about 96.2 The Revolution from her cousin in Royton, and always listens when she visits.  When back in Milan, she listens online mainly in the mornings when she's got ironing to do and sometimes in the evenings.  She believes Sunday evenings are a MUST for the Rewind Show with Penky, and also enjoys listening to Jay through the week.

John Abbot - Walnut Cove, North Carolina, USA
John works for the local government in North Carolina.  While at work, he loves to listen to the radio as it helps him get through the day.  His company usually blocks their local internet radio stations, so he found 96.2 The Revolution online by accident!  John Says: "I immediately fell in love with the music played, along with the personalities.  Sometimes I start laughing and my co-workers ask me if I am ok!  I listen from the time I get into work until I leave to go home.  Are you hiring? (Joking) Seriously, keep up the great job! You guys are a wonderful part of my day!"

If you're an international listener or just listen online because you live outside of our general broadcast area and want recognition right here on our website, please fill out the details below, including a bit of information about yourself, and let's make the world a smaller place!

Welcome, and thanks for listening to 96.2 The Revolution!
