Totally 80s With Gary King is a multi award-winning 2-hour show which is different to other shows because it focuses on what the stars of the 'decadent decade' are doing today. This means there's a constant stream of new, interesting stories about the stars who enjoyed their biggest success in the 1980's.
Each week Gary is joined by a Star Guest who reveals their story or memories of the 1980s. Recent guests have included Tiffany, Limahl and Nik Kershaw. Weekly contemporary features such as the '80s Mash Up' (2 songs remixed together) and our guess-the-year segment called 'Total Recall', also make the show a real appointment to listen.
Before joining The Revolution Gary King has hosted shows on BBC Radio 1, Virgin Radio and London's Capital FM. He was the voice-over on the TV show 'Funhouse' and more recently became the voice for 'Dale Winton's Supermarket Sweep' on ITV.
Totally 80s is a multi award-winning show, recently winning 'Best Syndicated Show' at the 2007 European Radio Awards in Barcelona. In 2006 it won the Gold World Medal for 'Best Regularly Scheduled Music Programme' at the New York Festival of International Radio Programming, and in 2007 won again, this time picking up the Silver World Medal for 'Best Oldies/Nostalgia Format'.
